Experience
Krysten is a content marketer and brand storyteller with experience spanning nonprofit fundraising, event marketing, communications, and content strategy. She has led marketing initiatives that support fundraising campaigns, community engagement, brand awareness, and organizational growth while developing content strategies, digital campaigns, and video storytelling that help organizations and brands connect with their audiences in meaningful ways.
Background
Krysten earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University, Northridge, and began her career supporting individuals with developmental disabilities before transitioning into nonprofit fundraising and communications, where she discovered the power of storytelling to inspire connection and drive meaningful impact. That journey eventually led her into agency marketing, where she brings together psychology, creativity, and strategic thinking to help brands communicate with intention, build trust, and create lasting relationships with the people they serve.
Community Involvement
Krysten is passionate about mental health advocacy, creative education, and supporting organizations that strengthen their communities. She believes the best marketing begins with empathy and is especially drawn to projects that promote well-being, accessibility, and authentic human connection.
In Her Back Pocket
After moving from California to Florida to start a new chapter with her partner, Krysten enjoys discovering everything her new home has to offer. Whether she’s trying a new matcha spot, finding a local restaurant, taking a Pilates class, or bringing her latest creative idea to life, she’s happiest when she’s creating. She enjoys vision boarding, meditation, and practices that keep her grounded, believing that the best ideas come from staying curious, creative, and grounded.
