Experience
Amy has more than 20 years of experience planning and managing print and digital content platforms that drive audience engagement. She currently focuses on healthcare, adaptive lifestyle, and the disability community.
Background
Her first experience with association publications was as the Research Editor for a regional AAA club. With that early start in chasing down facts, she built a foundation in accurate, in-depth writing and a comprehensive understanding of the American interstate system. She used that knowledge in a brief and glorious travel writing career focused on outdoor adventure travel.
Community Involvement
Amy and her family support local students and families through Hope Chicago and Cradles to Crayons.
In Her Back Pocket
Outside of work, you can find Amy at the climbing gym top-roping and lead climbing the tall walls. She also enjoys dance in all its forms and Chicago’s rich cultural scene.
What makes me smile? Once, I collaborated with my client on some content tackling tough subjects about society and disability. The supportive messages they received from readers thanking us for writing about those topics made our team feel wonderful.
